Day 242, Morning

Today’s morning meditation is available below in audio and script formats. The audio version is also available for free download on the player.

Reading

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to the place where you dwell. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight.

I will sing songs to the accompaniment of strings, O God, my God. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.

—Psalm 43 (OT)

Quiet

As your day begins, spend a few moments in silence and stillness.

Prayer

God of wonders, there are days I’d like to see a miracle, something supernatural that would finally nail down any doubts and certify my faith. Help me rest in the miracle of your love and power. Amen. (BC)
