Does God send terrifying things to destroy us?
In The Book Of Numbers in the Old Testament, we read a story about God sending venomous snakes to bite the Israelites because they were complaining.
What is the meaning of this? What good can we gather from this (seemingly) strange and awful story in the Bible?
